Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 September 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Fruktos website and the purchase of furniture and related products from Fruktos.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or place an order.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK law.

1. About Fruktos

The website and products are operated by:

Phone: +44 7766 854757
Email: info@fruktos.co.uk

Fruktos sells furniture and related products to customers in the United Kingdom.

2. Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website in a way that violates applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, or customer accounts.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material.
  • Use automated systems to copy, scrape, or interfere with the website without our written permission.
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful information.
  • Use another person’s account or payment details without authorisation.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website if we reasonably believe that these Terms have been breached or that the website is being misused.

3. Product Information

We try to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colours, materials, specifications, and availability information are accurate and up to date.

However:

  • Product colours may appear different depending on your screen or device.
  • Minor variations may occur because of manufacturing, materials, lighting, or photography.
  • Measurements may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances.
  • Product photographs may include styling items that are not included with the furniture.
  • Any included accessories or components will be identified in the relevant product description.
  • Furniture may require assembly unless the product description states otherwise.

Please review the product description, dimensions, materials, care instructions, and included items before placing your order. If you need clarification, contact us before purchasing.

4. Prices and Delivery Charges

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise.

The price payable is the price displayed at checkout before you submit your order. Applicable delivery charges, taxes, and other mandatory costs will be shown before payment.

Our standard delivery charge is currently £10.00 GBP per order. Delivery charges may vary where clearly stated because of the delivery location, product, promotion, order size, or special delivery arrangement.

We will not add undisclosed mandatory charges after you place an order without your agreement.

If we discover an obvious pricing or product-information error before dispatch, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.

5. Placing an Order

To place an order, select the product, add it to your basket, provide the requested information, choose an available payment method, and submit the order through checkout.

Before submitting an order, please check:

  • Product details and quantity.
  • Delivery address.
  • Email address and telephone number.
  • Delivery charge.
  • Total price.
  • Payment information.
  • Any applicable product options.

After you submit an order, we will normally send an acknowledgement email. This acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order request; it does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first, unless we have told you that we do not accept your order.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

  • The product is unavailable.
  • We cannot verify the payment.
  • The delivery address is outside our delivery area.
  • There is an obvious pricing or product-information error.
  • We suspect fraud or unlawful activity.
  • We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a refund for the amount paid for the cancelled order.

6. Payment

Payment must be made using an available payment method shown at checkout.

Payment may be authorised or processed by a third-party payment provider. You confirm that:

  • The payment information you provide is accurate.
  • You are authorised to use the payment method.
  • Sufficient funds or credit are available.

We may delay processing or cancel an order if payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or cannot be verified.

7. Delivery

We currently deliver to customers within the United Kingdom.

Orders are normally processed and prepared for dispatch within 1 to 2 business days. After dispatch, estimated carrier transit time is 3 to 5 business days.

The estimated total delivery time is therefore 4 to 7 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and UK public holidays.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates. Delays may occur because of carrier disruption, severe weather, public holidays, traffic, access problems, high demand, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Full delivery information is available in our Shipping Policy.

8. Delivery Address and Access

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

For furniture deliveries, please ensure that the product and its packaging can pass through relevant doors, hallways, staircases, lifts, gates, and other access points.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, standard delivery does not include:

  • Assembly or installation.
  • Removal of existing furniture.
  • Disposal of packaging.
  • Placement in a specific room.
  • Crane, hoist, specialist access, or unusual handling.

If delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, lack of access, absence of the recipient, or information not supplied by you, additional delivery or re-delivery costs may apply where permitted by law. We will contact you before applying any chargeable re-delivery arrangement.

9. Cancellation Rights

If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods, without giving a reason.

If an order is delivered in multiple shipments, the cancellation period generally starts when you receive the final item or shipment forming part of that order.

To cancel, you must notify us with a clear statement. You may email or write to us using the contact details below:

Email: info@fruktos.co.uk
Phone: +44 7766 854757
Address: Flat 36 Witham Court, Thant Close, London, England, E10 5PJ

You may use the cancellation form at the end of these Terms, but you do not have to use it.

After notifying us that you are cancelling, you must return the goods without undue delay and normally within 14 days of telling us about the cancellation.

10. Exceptions to Cancellation Rights

The statutory cancellation right may not apply, or may be limited, to products that are:

  • Made to your specifications.
  • Clearly personalised.
  • Custom-made or bespoke.
  • Sealed for health or hygiene reasons and unsealed after delivery.
  • Otherwise excluded by applicable consumer-protection law.

The relevant product page should identify any applicable cancellation exception before you place your order. This does not affect your rights concerning faulty, damaged, misdescribed, or incorrectly supplied goods.

11. Condition of Returned Goods

You may handle the goods only as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functionality.

You may be responsible for any reduction in the value of goods caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be allowed in a shop.

Where possible, please:

  • Keep the original packaging.
  • Protect the furniture during handling and return.
  • Include all parts, accessories, manuals, and fittings.
  • Avoid assembling or using the item beyond what is necessary to inspect it.
  • Contact us before arranging a return.

For large or heavy furniture, we will explain the return method and any applicable return-collection arrangements.

12. Return Delivery Costs

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods after exercising your cancellation right, where we informed you of this before purchase.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, Fruktos will handle the matter in accordance with your statutory rights and our Returns and Refund Policy. We will explain whether a return, collection, repair, replacement, or refund is appropriate.

13. Refunds

When you validly cancel an order, we will refund eligible payments without undue delay and generally within 14 days after:

  • We receive the returned goods; or
  • You provide evidence that the goods have been sent back; or
  • We collect the goods, where we have agreed to arrange collection.

The refund will normally include the standard delivery charge paid at the time of purchase. We are not required to refund additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery option.

Unless agreed otherwise, refunds will be made using the original payment method.

We may delay a refund until the goods are returned or you provide evidence that they have been sent back.

14. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

If your furniture is faulty, damaged in transit, incomplete, not as described, or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the problem.
  • Photographs of the product and packaging.
  • Details of when the problem was discovered.
  • Any relevant delivery information.

Your statutory rights may include the right to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund depending on the circumstances. We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy under applicable UK consumer law.

Please keep the packaging until the issue has been reviewed where reasonably possible.

15. Availability

Product availability is shown on the website where possible. Availability may change without notice.

If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and may offer an alternative, delay fulfilment with your agreement, or cancel and refund the unavailable item.

16. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions, discount codes, and special offers may be subject to additional terms.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • A discount code must be entered before completing payment.
  • Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Only one discount code may be used per order.
  • Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.
  • We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an obvious error or suspected misuse.

Any promotion-specific terms will be displayed with the relevant offer.

17. Intellectual Property

The website and its content, including text, product photographs, graphics, logos, designs, layout, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Fruktos unless stated otherwise.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, sell, or commercially exploit website content without our prior written permission.

18. Customer Reviews and Submissions

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, or other material to us, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to submit it.
  • It is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • It does not infringe another person’s rights.
  • It is not unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, misleading, or harmful.
  • It does not contain malicious code or unauthorised personal information.

You grant Fruktos permission to use, reproduce, display, and publish the submission for business, website, service, and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law.

We may remove or decline to publish submissions that breach these Terms or are otherwise unsuitable.

19. Website Availability and Accuracy

We aim to keep the website available and information accurate, but we do not guarantee that:

  • The website will always be available or uninterrupted.
  • The website will be free from errors or harmful components.
  • Every product, price, photograph, or description will always be current.
  • The website will be compatible with every device or browser.

We may update, suspend, withdraw, or change parts of the website without notice where reasonably necessary.

20. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Breach of your statutory consumer rights.
  • Defective products where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • Any other liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses arising from your failure to follow product, assembly, care, safety, or delivery instructions.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer.

21. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather.
  • Flood, fire, or natural disaster.
  • Carrier or transportation disruption.
  • Industrial action.
  • Power, internet, or telecommunications failure.
  • Government action.
  • Public-health emergencies.
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or similar events.
  • Supplier or fulfilment disruption.

If an event materially affects your order, we will contact you where reasonably possible and explain the available options.

22. Privacy

Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

By using the website or placing an order, you acknowledge that personal information will be handled as described in that policy.

23. Complaints

If you have a complaint about an order, product, delivery, payment, or service, please contact us:

Please include your order number and details of the issue so that we can investigate efficiently.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our website, products, services, delivery arrangements, or legal obligations change.

The version applicable to your order will be the version published at the time you placed the order, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

The latest version will always be available on this page.

25. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom, you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections available under the law of the part of the UK where you live.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights concerning jurisdiction.
